and helped make it such a great success!
In 2019, this two-day housing event welcomed Tenant Advocates from across WA, along with health and community workers, government representatives, and anyone with an interest in residential tenancy or mental health issues.
Exploring a theme of Make Renting Fair in 2019, the conference was a project of Tenancy WA and was held at the Bendat Community Centre in Wembley.
Tenancy WA Inc - is an independent not-for-profit specialist community legal centre who provide free, quality legal services to residential tenants across WA.

Derek Balantyne (Canada) Chair of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation on "What Australia can learn from Canada's approach to Affordable Housing:".
Dr Chris Martin (NSW) research fellow at the City Futures Research Centre addressing Residential Tenancies Law Reform: recent changes and unfinished business.
The conference finished with a Law Reform Priorities Workshop where all delegates were given the opportunity to improve how one third of Western Australians live by making their house a home. The economic and social landscape around renting has shifted considerably in the last 30 years but what details and issues should rental reform be taking into consideration today.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points were available for solicitors and certain other professionals.
